In the wise words of Chef Thomas Keller, "A recipe has no soul. You, as the cook, must bring soul to the recipe." Similarly, professional development resources truly come to life once teachers inject their passion and personality. I have taught Advanced Placement English Literature and English 4 at William Mason High School in Cincinnati, Ohio for 27 years. I am a department chair at Mason and a Teacher Leader Liaison/Ambassador for the state of Ohio.I am also an AP English Literature Consultant, Mentor, Exam Reader, and Exam Early Table Leader. I have spoken about best practices at many conferences, including the Advanced Placement Annual Conference, the College Board's National Forum, the Ohio Teacher Leadership Summit, and NCTE.Additionally, I was an organizer and speaker for Mosaic 2020 and Mosaic 2021, the unofficial AP English Literature & Language Conference.
